If severe weather threatens a portion of the electric system serving your community, it may be necessary for PG&E to turn off electricity in the interest of public safety. This is known as a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS).

COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTERS: Device charging, Wi-Fi and other support PG&E opens daytime Community Resource Centers in areas affected by a shutoff. Each center offers an ADA-accessible restroom and hand-washing station, medical equipment charging, device charging, Wi-Fi, bottled water and snacks. Indoor centers also offer air-conditioning or heating, seating and ice. -
